Community Spaces Challenge, Wakefield
Animania! are involved in this exciting new project. A series of Photo Art Workshops with local young people from the
Nacro Youth Inclusion programme and Wakefield City High School. Animania! will be used to teach photo and image manipulation skills
to produce large printed display boards. These images will be turned into works of abstract art representing the Eastmoor area,
and the panels form a mobile exhibition stand to display the resulting Artwork

Swinton and Wath Community Libraries
Both libraries feature large format Photo Art which reflect visually striking aspects of the local vicnities.
Wath libraries internet cafe features a bespoke computer desk. Images show both the natural and built environment and include
appropriate signage. Swinton makes impact on it's teenage audience with a large striking image of the trees and skyline at the
local canal. Unusual images from around the town are featured at eye level including a pottery kiln, church tower and curved stone motto.

Drury Lane and South Elmsall Teenage Libraries
Two new teenage areas for Wakefield aim to increase library use by young people.
The art-photos feature both images of the local area and images of interest to the teenage audience. The large format photos are digitally printed on to durable display panels.
At Drury Lane library this theme was extended to banners and light boxes to fit in with the newly re-fitted area which contained modern café style chairs and tables.

Animania! Photo Art is a combination of photography skills combined with creative / artistic use of image manipulation.
These images can be printed onto a variety of materials.
